Our Local stores can be found not only on high streets and in city centres but also in other locations such as local neighbourhoods and train stations. Our Colleagues really are amazing. They look after our customers and provide great service. If you’re a people person, then this is the perfect role. And if you’re interested in developing your skills, you’ll get lots of training to help you too. Not every Colleague thinks of themselves as a future Store Manager – but, with our support, lots can make the step.

Our Amazing Store Supervisors

Being a Store Supervisors is a great way to combine being part of the team with leadership responsibility. You’ll lead by example, ensuring our values are lived up to everyday and create a great shopping experience for our customers. You’ll also assume responsibility for the store in the absence of store management. Whatever the situation, you’ll be expected to deliver great store results whilst coaching and developing colleagues. Store Supervisors could be your first step onto the management ladder and it will really help you learn a lot about setting standards, leading a team and motivating others.

Becoming a Deputy Manager is a really important step. It shows you’re ready to manage, coach and supervise others. Of course, you’ll still be visible in the store too, ensuring that customers are getting the best experience possible. But you will also work closely with the Store Manager, ensuring that every aspect of the store runs smoothly. A passion for retail and good customer service is vital.
