Can you think of a more people orientated place than a supermarket? That's what attracted me to this role - hands-on HR - helping the Store Manager to make the right people decisions and make this a great place to work. Every store has its own HR team, and my role is to lead them in delivering this plan, responding to the needs of frontline staff on the shop floor. I'd say you need to be ideally CIPD-qualified and possess strong leadership skills, adept at managing talent and implementing new ideas that will deliver real results for everyone.
