Why join us
As our Junior People Partner, you will ensure the successful delivery of our people plans. Putting our colleagues first, you will work with the Head of People Partnering and People Partners to help design, implement and embed a wide variety of people change initiatives and cyclical activity.
What you'll do
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful delivery of people plans, including people development interventions, change / transformation projects, and cyclical people activity. Collaborating with stakeholders and the People Centres of Expertise, you will design, implement, and embed cyclical activity within the people plan, aiming to create a great colleague and line manager experience. Working on a portfolio basis, you will prioritise and deploy your expertise to deliver value-adding activities for the division, region, or function.
Additionally, you will drive business change initiatives, facilitate leadership development programmes whilst supporting talent reviews. With a data driven approach you will analyse functional people data to develop strategic people plans. In this role, your success will be measured by your ability to address people challenges, improve colleague engagement, implement business change initiatives effectively, deliver on people metrics, and contribute to a positive work environment.
Who you are
You are an experienced HR professional with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of a fast-paced and commercial organisation. With a proven track record of successfully delivering people plans and driving positive change projects, you take full accountability for your work and always strive for continuous improvement. Your strong collaborative skills enable you to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, finding innovative solutions to business challenges and ensuring the seamless execution of people activities. Your ability to analyse data and track progress, along with your agility to adapt and learn, allows you to make evidence-based decisions and drive positive outcomes for both colleagues and the business as a whole.
What you need to know and show
Essentials
- CIPD Level 5+ or equivalent combination of HR generalist knowledge skills and experience
- Own it, takes full accountability for issues through to resolution
- Make it better, identifies opportunities to make the way we work simpler or looks for ways of improving service in the team. Encourages others to deliver results by making decisions and trying new approaches
- Be human, strong team working and collaboration skills, working with others to solve business problems, and finding the most effective and efficient ways of delivering
- Proven track record of delivery in equivalent roles within a fast-paced, complex, commercial organisations
- Experience of collaboratively delivering people plans
- Experience tracking and monitoring project, programme or initiative progress, and flagging when things are behind schedule
- Ability to consume and analyse data
- Learning agility
- Experience supporting the delivery of people impacting change projects
Desirable
- Experience with project management methodology / governance / working in an agile environment
