What you'll do
As the Internal Communications Manager - Argos Retail at Sainsbury's, you will be responsible for delivering operational and people change communications to our Argos retail leaders. Collaborating with the Senior Internal Communications Manager - Argos Retail, you will develop and execute communication plans, ensuring that our Argos colleagues understand their role in achieving our strategic commitments and driving colleague engagement and customer satisfaction. Your focus will be on delivering clear and effective communications that align with our purpose and strategy, providing leaders with the necessary tools and support to engage their teams. Additionally, you will develop bespoke communications for Argos stores, create plans for operational change projects and people change initiatives, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. By measuring the effectiveness of communications and continuously improving our channels, you will contribute to a collaborative culture and drive positive outcomes within the internal communications team.
Who you are
You are a skilled professional with a strong background in internal communications. You have a proven track record of creating and delivering communication plans in fast-paced and complex organisations, particularly in the context of people change projects. With your deep understanding of the retail industry, you possess the expertise to effectively communicate with complex audiences and drive engagement and understanding across Argos retail leaders. Your excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle large amounts of information under tight deadlines enable you to deliver clear and concise communications that align with the overall business strategy. Additionally, your ability to build relationships, work collaboratively, and adapt to changing contexts make you a valuable asset in driving continuous improvement and achieving collective outcomes within the internal communications team.
