In a nutshell
As a display co-ordinator you will support with creating and delivering easy to implement displays for our General Merchandise business area across various channels. You will work closely with the wider Display Planning team to ensure an effective and compelling use of space that meets the customers’ needs and remains visually inspiring and engaging, whilst remaining competitive within the wider market. As an integral part of a larger cross functional team, it is important that your project administration is completed to a high standard and on time, it is vital that you and prioritise workload and engage with Trading, Commercial, Marketing and Retail teams in line with the critical path to achieve display sign off.
What you need to do
- Deliver visually inspiring displays whilst adhering to dressing rules and the latest merchandising principles to minimise the impact on the supply chain and on shelf availability, driving commercial results.
- Support the live builds in collaboration with the trading teams.
- Support range performance optimisation through micro analysis and reporting. Enabling the trading teams to make more informed decisions for optimal range selection.
- Deliver to critical path, maintaining touch points with all key stakeholders during the range build process.
- Complete all project administration correctly and to required timescale
- Design, develop and produce store implementation packs, producing detailed planograms and merchandising guidelines to the standard template to communicate to stores
- Co-ordinate with In-store Marketing and Retail to ensure that stores receive the correct planograms and Marketing material in the correct format and in a timely manner
What you need to know
- Experience of working within a retail environment.
- Sound understanding of visual merchandising.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic retail environment.
- Ability to deliver results as an individual and within a team.
- Confidence to influence and engage, building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Effective communicator, presenter and team player.
- Product, market and consumer knowledge.
- Proven creative skills to create compelling visual displays
- Numerate.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office package and Photoshop
- Excel experience would be an advantage
- Blue Yonder experience would be an advantage
