Joining the Sainsbury's Marketing team as an Influencer Lead presents an exciting opportunity to shape and drive the influencer programme for Tu Clothing, creating innovative and impactful social media campaigns. With a focus on strategy, content development, and collaboration with agency and platform partners, you will have the autonomy to lead end-to-end influencer campaigns and drive forward the brand's social media presence. What you'll do
As the Influencer Lead at Sainsbury's within the Marketing / Digital Marketing division, you will be responsible for managing the Tu Clothing influencer programme, driving the influencer strategy, and overseeing the creation of innovative and impactful social media content with a platform-first creative approach. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with creative, creator, and influencer agencies as well as platform partners like Meta and TikTok to develop and execute influencer campaigns aligned with the brand strategy and customer plan. Your role will involve tracking, measuring, and reporting on influencer activity, ensuring social governance compliance, and guiding brand communications and paid social teams on influencer creative execution. Additionally, you will be managing budgets, running end-to-end influencer campaigns, and leveraging agency and platform relationships to stay at the forefront of industry trends and innovations within the influencer space.

Who you are
As the Influencer Lead for Sainsbury's Tu Clothing programme within the Marketing department, you are an experienced professional with a strong track record in leading social channel strategies and influencer programmes within a large organisation. With a passion for social media and the digital landscape, you possess excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies to drive impactful and innovative influencer campaigns. Your customer-centric approach, clear thinking, and strong commercial acumen enable you to make strategic decisions under pressure and drive forward the influencer agenda to enhance the brand's social media presence and engagement.
Essential criteria
- Experience leading a social channel in a large organisation.
- Experience managing creative agencies.
- Knowledge of social media tools, platforms (e.g. Sprout) and paid social.
- Experience within the fashion/or retail sector.
- Experience planning and delivering content across social channels.
