What I need to do
• Sit within the Supply Chain Optimisation team, liaising closely with members of the Supply Chain operations team.
• Apply your analytical knowledge to business problems recommending and implementing the analytical approach.
• Lead projects, develop & maintain relationships with your stakeholders, championing a collaborative approach to requirements gathering and the formation of compelling analysis.
• Move at pace, whilst still delivering high quality, accurate, professional outputs that land the real truths that sit within the data. You will proactively ensure you are always in touch with the ‘Why’ behind every project – understanding the purpose of your analysis, and which decisions the business is looking to inform.
• Deliver insights and recommendations through high quality data storytelling. We love data and deriving value from it. The key to the value is in being able to build and tell compelling stories based on this data.
• Embrace our values of Owning It, Making it Better and Being Human.
How I will succeed
• Able to deliver effective insight using initiative, strong communication skills and ensuring the customer is always the priority across all activities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, at various levels, and their expectations, able to clearly articulate any delays or challenges and manage this accordingly so there are no surprises or issues.
• Strong communicator and storyteller, able to flex style based on the audience and convey complex outputs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Inquisitive in nature and self-driven - able to ask the ‘what if’ and ‘why’ questions.
• Seek/generate regular feedback from stakeholders’ teams on how the analytical support material has supported them in meeting their objectives.
• Add value to stakeholders by understanding their business need and not just their insight request. Asking “Can I do this in a better way?”
• Work cross functionally to ensure stakeholders are aware of any challenges and engaged.
• Contributing to the conversation of the team sharing learnings and opportunities for us as individuals and as a team to push our performance forward.
