What you'll do
As a Talent and Performance Executive at Sainsbury's, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Talent and Performance approach, overseeing the flawless execution of annual cycles and key products within our portfolio. Your responsibilities will include supporting Talent and Performance Managers in designing a best-in-class colleague experience, managing the delivery of annual talent and performance cycles, building relationships with People partner teams, engaging with internal and external networks for innovative solutions, and conducting post-implementation reviews to enhance our performance and talent interventions. Additionally, you will act as a product owner, resolve challenges through critical thinking, ensure compliance with ER, DEI, and Data Privacy requirements, gather feedback for continuous improvement, and stay updated on best practises in Talent and Performance Management to drive effectiveness and return on investment.
Who you are
As a Talent and Performance Executive for Sainsbury's, you are a strategic and results-driven professional with a strong background in talent management, performance management, and project / programme management. With a customer-centric approach and a focus on continuous improvement, you excel in driving the design, development, and deployment of impactful talent and performance interventions to support the organisation's growth and Next Level leadership objectives. Your ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and leverage data-driven insights ensures the successful execution of talent and performance initiatives, contributing to a high-performing and engaged workforce at Sainsbury's.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrable experience managing projects or programmes through all phases of the lifecycle, including planning, execution, and closure across the talent and performance or leadership space.
- Proven ability to identify and develop talent through structured activities that support organisational effectiveness.
- Evidence of applying performance management practices, including regular feedback and reviews, to align employee outcomes with strategic goals.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to uncover trends and inform decision-making that improves business or people outcomes.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools to support communication, planning, and reporting tasks.
