More about the role
Our Buyer - Baby (Non Food) role is a brilliant area where you can make all the difference for our smallest and most important shoppers! Working as part of a dedicated and passionate team, you'll be in charge of owning the buying and selling strategy across Nappies, Wipes, Baby and Kids Toiletries, and Baby Accessories. This includes buying effectively from some of the biggest multinational FMCGs, managing the P&L, and also curating brilliant events and activations.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial, market, and customer data. You should be adept at managing supplier relationships and influencing stakeholders to gain commitment to your plans. Your ability to flex your style to inspire and engage will be key.
We are looking for someone who shows accountability for results, has excellent negotiation skills, and possesses a strong commercial background. Effective communication, teamwork, and analytical thinking are essential behaviours that will help you thrive in this role.
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of buying systems and processes.
- Proven buying experience in a retail or FMCG environment
- Demonstratable experience in supplier contract management
- Ability to analyse problems and make effective decisions
- Clear written and verbal communication of complex information
- Experience in delivering cross-functional projects
