Please note, this role is based out of our London Store Support Centre & Home. Colleagues go into the office 2 days per week on average.

What you'll do

You will play a pivotal role within the Commercial Finance function by providing strategic financial support and guidance to the Marketing Division. Your responsibilities will include acting as the key Finance Business Partner and finance expert, collaborating cross-functionally with business stakeholders to develop well-structured business cases and conduct post-investment reviews grounded in solid commercial principles. Additionally, you will define financial performance indicators, track financial benefits, ensure the robustness of forecasts, and effectively manage risks and opportunities within your business areas. Your ability to deliver timely, accurate analysis, translate data into valuable business insights, and foster a culture of finance fluency and control with your business partners will be essential to your success in this role.

Who you are

You are a professionally qualified accountant with extensive business partnering experience at a strategic level. With a strong focus on driving financial and commercial performance, you possess exceptional analytical skills and the ability to translate data into valuable business insights. Your track record of maintaining strong financial controls, collaborating effectively with stakeholders of varying acumen, and fostering a culture of financial fluency make you a key contributor to the strategic and financial success of the Marketing Division.

Essential Criteria

  • Professionally qualified accountant - ACCA, CIMA, or ACA 
  • Demonstrable experience in business partnering senior stakeholders within a commercial division at Finance Manager level
  • Proven ability to conduct complex, data-led financial analysis independently and as part of broader commercial initiatives
  • Advanced Excel and numerical skills, with a track record of translating data into actionable insights
  • Evidence of maintaining robust financial controls and contributing to the development of a strong financial governance environment
