Please note, this role is based out of our Coventry Store Support Centre & Home. Colleagues go into the office 1 day per week on average.

What you'll do

As a Finance Analyst - Home & Seasonals, your role will revolve around proactively business partnering with the Commercial teams to provide valuable insight, analysis, and commentary. You will be responsible for running and interpreting reporting to offer timely insights to stakeholders, identifying risks and opportunities, and collaborating with the Finance Manager to prioritise actions. Your strategic analysis and support in Forecasting & Budgeting will play a key role in driving business decisions that enhance performance, increase income, improve ROI, and effectively manage cost lines to ensure the business's financial success and growth.

Who you are

You are a part or fully professionally qualified accountant with a keen eye for detail and a strong commercial acumen. Your ability to proactively business partner with stakeholders, interpret complex financial data, and provide insightful analysis and commentary allows you to drive informed decision-making and support the achievement of financial goals. With a track record of maintaining strong financial control and a proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities, you play a critical role in enhancing business performance, maximising cashflow, and improving ROI within the ever-evolving retail landscape.

Essential Criteria

  • Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or actively studying towards qualification
  • Demonstrable experience in business partnering within a commercial finance environment, preferably retail
  • Proficient in Excel and presentation tools, with evidence of translating data into actionable insights and communicating them effectively
  • Track record of maintaining robust financial controls and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders across varying levels of financial and commercial understanding
