Why join us

Joining Sainsbury's as a Commercial Finance Manager in the Tech (Product) team offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of technological innovation within a FTSE100 company. Collaborating with dynamic and entrepreneurial teams, you will play a pivotal role in influencing Tech investments and driving strategic actions that impact the way we serve our customers and shape the future of retail. With a focus on developing your skills and providing opportunities for growth, you will be part of a high-profile environment where your financial expertise and strategic insights can truly make a difference.

What you'll do

You will play a crucial role in partnering with the Director of Product to influence and drive actions across Tech investments, both Capex and Opex, as the company delivers the Sainsbury's Next Level strategy with technology at its core. This high-profile role will require you to cultivate strong relationships with colleagues in the tech team, translating financial data into valuable commercial insights and often presenting to C-Suite stakeholders, making a visible impact on how technology shapes the future of the business.

Your ability to influence, challenge, and cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders sets you apart, as does your passion for driving commercial insight and delivering impactful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. With your background in process and change management, along with your proactive mindset and enthusiasm for developing junior colleagues, you are well-equipped to thrive in a high-profile role that demands agility, strategic thinking, and a keen interest in technological innovation.
