What you'll do 

As the Occupational Health & Safety Impact Specialist, you will play a critical role in identifying and addressing work-related physical health impacts nationwide, providing guidance on implementing changes to reduce harm and absence across all areas of the business. You will act as a subject matter expert on physical wellbeing, conducting risk assessments, investigations, and providing recommendations to improve procedures and processes to enhance the overall safety and health of employees. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will contribute to policy creation, present findings, and drive the implementation of corrective actions to mitigate physical impact trends, ensuring a proactive approach to improving the wellbeing of all colleagues. 

Who you are 

As the Occupational Health & Safety Impact Specialist, you are a dedicated and knowledgeable professional with a background in health and safety or health management, specialising in musculoskeletal health and recovery. Your ability to proactively identify physical health risks, conduct specialist risk assessments, and provide guidance on implementable changes to reduce harm and absence demonstrates your commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of colleagues nationwide. With strong communication skills, a coaching approach, and the capability to influence stakeholders at all levels, you play a vital role in guiding leadership on strategies to improve physical health and safety across the organisation.
