More about the role
As Head of Merchandising, you will lead the development and execution of merchandising strategies across multiple categories. You will work closely with Heads of Buying and Design to deliver sales, profit, stock availability, and customer satisfaction targets. This role involves managing a high-performing team, overseeing stock flow through the supply chain, and driving supplier performance to optimise profitability.
You will also play a key role in strategic planning, budgeting, trading and forecasting, ensuring that category plans align with long-term commercial objectives. Collaboration across functions and influencing stakeholders will be essential to deliver corporate goals.

You are an experienced merchandising leader with a proven ability to inspire and develop teams. You can demonstrate strategic thinking and execution, strong stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of sourcing and supply chain operations. You thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment and are confident in driving change and delivering results.
Essential criteria
· Proven track record in a senior merchandising leadership role
· Ability to lead and motivate large teams to deliver commercial targets
· Strong knowledge of planning, budgeting, trading and forecasting processes
· Experience managing supplier relationships and optimising performance
· Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels
