We partner with Argos to design data‑driven, multi‑channel campaigns that inspire customers and deliver measurable commercial outcomes across Argos.co.uk, digital marketing and in‑store touchpoints. As part of a market‑leading retail media network, you’ll help us shape how brands engage millions of shoppers across a uniquely omnichannel ecosystem.
More about the roleAs Client Director, you will set and execute the monetisation strategy for Argos Media and champion how we use first‑party insight to create high‑performing, customer‑centred media solutions. You’ll own a significant revenue number, translating long‑term growth plans into quarterly deliverables and guiding the team to hit—and raise—our commercial targets.
Day to day, you’ll lead cross‑functional collaboration with digital, data & insight, marketing, Commercial and campaign delivery colleagues to develop new and enhanced media capabilities, ensuring we continue to build a profitable asset without disrupting the customer journey. You’ll be a visible ambassador for Nectar360, educating internal teams and senior external stakeholders on the value of our Argos Media proposition and the Sainsbury’s Insight Platform for Argos.

Comfortable with complex datasets, you turn insight into clear propositions that win commitment and investment from senior clients. Your leadership style is coaching‑led and outcomes‑focused. You build inclusive, high‑performing teams, set clear goals, and remove obstacles so people can do their best work. You’re organised, resilient and calm under pressure—able to prioritise, simplify and make effective decisions in ambiguous situations.
Essential criteria
- Demonstrable experience of delivering multi-million-pound digital media or retail revenue targets.
- A track record of designing and executing data-driven monetisation strategies across multiple channels.
- Proven ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams to achieve defined objectives.
- Demonstrable experience of building senior stakeholder relationships and managing complex commercial negotiations.
- A track record of using first-party data and insight platforms to create measurable client propositions.
