Please note, this role is based out of our Coventry Store Support Centre & Home. Colleagues go into the office 1-2 days per week on average.

What you'll do

You will play a crucial role in providing timely insights, analysis, and commentary to stakeholders, supporting the Clothing Commercial teams in making informed decisions to drive business performance. You will run and interpret management reporting, identifying risks, anomalies, and opportunities to be flagged to senior management for prioritisation. Your strong financial acumen, Excel skills, and ability to communicate effectively will enable you to support the business in managing forecasting, budgeting, and project budgets, ultimately contributing to enhancing performance, improving ROI, and effectively managing cost lines to drive incremental income for the business.

Who you are

You are a part or fully qualified accountant with a strong foundation in financial analysis, reporting, and business partnering. Your expertise in interpreting management reporting, identifying risks and opportunities, and building business cases enables you to provide valuable insights to stakeholders and support strategic decision-making. With your strong commercial acumen, numerical skills, and ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, you play a crucial role in enhancing performance, managing costs, and driving incremental income for the business. Your self-motivation, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative mindset make you a valuable asset in supporting the business to achieve its financial objectives and strengthen its performance.

Essential Criteria

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant with a recognised professional body (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Demonstrable ability to analyse financial data and present clear, actionable insights using Excel and other relevant tools
  • Proven experience in maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring compliance within a commercial environment
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders with varying levels of financial understanding
  • Evidence of working collaboratively within a team while managing priorities independently and solving problems effectively
