What you'll do

As a Photographer at Sainsbury's, you will play a crucial role in the fast-paced Studio based in Bedford, collaborating closely with the Photography and Retouching Manager to create and edit high-quality photography content for the TU brand. Your main responsibilities will include photographing various content such as product cutouts, e-commerce model shots, and flat lays in alignment with brand principles and deadlines. You will also be involved in directing models to fulfil specific briefs, following photography briefs, delivering content timely and compliant with style guidelines, updating production measures, and contributing to improving studio performance against set KPIs. Additionally, you will actively participate in creative testing and process development, work closely with internal teams, demonstrate a keen eye for detail and colour continuity, and bring creativity and passion to drive future content developments. Your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure will be key to your success in this role.

 

Who you are

As a Photographer at Sainsbury's, you are a seasoned professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for fashion photography, possessing extensive experience in a fast-paced studio environment. With a strong understanding of industry-standard processes and tools, including photography equipment and software, you excel in creating high-quality, on-brand photography content while meeting stringent deadlines. Your collaborative nature, creativity, and commitment to continuous improvement make you a valuable asset to the team, contributing to the evolution and success of the brand's visual identity.

 

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience as a photographer in a fashion studio environment, with a strong portfolio to showcase your work.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of DSLR cameras, lighting (flash and continuous), and Capture One software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines, and strong organizational skills for handling multiple tasks.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a genuine passion for fashion photography and creative collaboration.
