Job Title: Group Product Manager – Food Digital Order Management & Order Promise
Location: Flexible (one day a week from the London office)

Our Food Order Management and Order Promise systems ensure that every item receives the right treatment at every stage of the order lifecycle, and provide visibility of orders to cross-domain systems, colleagues and customers. 

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Group Product Manager to join our team on a full time, permanent basis, to lead and inspire our Food Order Management & Order Promise domains and our product management teams - the digital backbone of our e-commerce propositions.

Role Overview: As the Group Product Manager for Food Digital Order Management & Order Promise, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of our digital transformation in this space. You will line manage a Product Manager and a Senior Product Manager, ensuring that our strategy continues to meet the needs of our customers and drives business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for creating innovative digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the product strategy and vision for Food Order Management & Order Promise, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of product managers, including a Product Manager and a Senior Product Manager, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, data, commercial, and customer support, to deliver high-quality impactful digital experiences
  • Conduct market research and analyse customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements and new features.
  • Define and prioritise the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of key initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to measure success and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure we remain competitive and innovative.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in product management, with a track record of successfully managing complex order processing systems or fulfilment platforms is required due to the highly technical nature of this domain.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing and developing a team of product managers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Passion for digital innovation and a deep understanding of of modern product development practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
