What you'll do
As the Marketing Technology Exec at Sainsbury's Argos Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining product and stock data feeds, ensuring accurate and compliant data sharing via ETL processes between Marketing tools, data storage, and dashboards, as well as managing real-time data feed integrations with various Marketing platforms. Your role will involve identifying, implementing, and reporting on feed tests to drive performance improvements across Marketing channels, while building strong relationships across the business to ensure timely project delivery involving multiple stakeholders. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with internal teams, agencies, and key marketing platforms to support Argos in delivering exceptional data-driven Marketing programmes, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness and drive business growth.
Who you are
As a Marketing Technology Exec at Sainsbury's Argos Marketing, you are a highly skilled professional with a strong background in managing product and stock data feeds for digital commerce and integrating them into marketing platforms. Your expertise in utilising feed data to enhance digital marketing effectiveness, coupled with experience in enterprise-scale ETL processes and customer data compliance, allows you to drive improvements in data delivery and accuracy. With a balance of technical and business acumen, as well as strong stakeholder management and project management skills, you excel in translating complex requirements into actionable strategies that support data-driven marketing programmes and contribute to business growth.
Essential criteria
Proven hands-on experience managing product and stock data feeds for digital commerce using tools such as Athos, Mulesoft, or Boomi.
Demonstrable experience in enterprise-scale ETL processes, specifically supporting marketing or digital activation use cases.
Experience integrating product, stock, or customer data feeds into marketing platforms (e.g., ad platforms, marketing automation, personalisation tools).
Experience of how feed-based data is used to run and optimise digital marketing, including dynamic creative optimisation, audience targeting, and real-time personalisation.
