What you'll do
Your role will be focused on driving productivity improvements across our operations. You will play a crucial part in deconstructing processes to identify areas of opportunity for improvement. Through time and motion study, you will set standards and measure compliance, while also recommending optimised warehouse layouts and relays to enhance productivity. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve measuring and monitoring standards within operational processes, prioritising productivity enhancements. Additionally, you will collaborate with Operational Executions Leads to provide expert insights and knowledge to improve processes within the cluster. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of business strategies with a productivity lens and stay updated on industry methodologies and learnings. With your technical qualifications as an Industrial Engineer, along with IMS certification and potentially Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen qualifications, you will bring a detailed understanding of operational processes and the ability to successfully deconstruct them, recommend practical improvements, and conduct work measurement and method studies. Your strong influencing and communication skills will be essential in collaborating with stakeholders at all levels. Maintaining strong relationships, working well within a multidisciplinary team, and adapting to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment will be critical to your success in this role.
Who you are
You are a highly skilled professional with a detailed understanding of operational processes in both logistics and supply chain domains. With your technical qualifications as including IMS certification and potentially Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen qualifications, you possess the expertise to drive productivity improvements and optimise standard processes. Your ability to conduct work measurement and method studies, deconstruct processes, and recommend practical improvements demonstrates your analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent influencing and communication skills enable you to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including managing relationships with unions. Your strong numerical and logical thinking abilities, coupled with your proficiency in data modelling and analytics, allow you to develop and maintain productivity models. With a flexible and adaptable approach, you thrive in project and programme environments within multi-disciplinary teams, delivering results within tight timeframes.
