Eligibility Requirements:
Location: This role is based in Harrogate on Cold Bath Road (HG2 0NJ). Please review the store’s location and ensure you can reliably travel for the advertised shift patterns.
Transport: Applicants must have access to reliable transport prior to applying, as public transport does not operate at the required start times.
Candidates intending travel by Public Transport need not apply.
Shift Availability:
Early morning shifts starting at 06:30 am non negotiable
Hours: Specific days and times will be confirmed at interview. The successful candidate will work 12 hours per week, typically on early morning shifts, with flexibility to increase up to 16 hours per week, covering both early mornings and afternoons as outlined above.
Commitment: This is a permanent position requiring year-round availability, including peak trading periods such as Christmas, Easter, and summer months. Please ensure you can commit to this before applying.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working as part of a small team to ensure that all aspects of the store are ready for our customers to provide a convenient and speedy shopping experience
- Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish shelves across the store, serving customers on checkouts, supporting with deliveries and keeping the store well-presented, clean and tidy
- Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor for customers using our On-demand grocery ordering service and assisting customers with Click & Collect parcels.
- Always ready to serve our customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions, and proactively offering help
- Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
- Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
