With a focus on community management and reactive content creation, you'll be part of a collaborative environment where your passion for social media trends and creativity can thrive. This role will support the Sainsbury’s Social Media Lead to run our Sainsbury’s organic social media channels. The role will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day community management and reactive content across all platforms.
We’re looking for someone who is deeply passionate about food—someone who understands food culture, trends and behaviours, and can translate that into conversations and content people love.
What you'll do
As the Social Media Organic Associate at Sainsbury's, you will play a vital role in supporting the Social Media Lead to manage and oversee the organic social media channels for the brand. Your responsibilities will include creating culturally relevant reactive content, scheduling communications across various social platforms, writing engaging captions, and executing the organic social media strategy in line with the brand's identity and customer plan. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal and external teams to produce platform-first reactive social content, maintain the brand's social presence, ensure compliance with social media governance guidelines, provide community management, and utilise social media reporting tools to gather insights and track competitor activity, ultimately contributing to the brand's social media success and engagement with its audience.
Who you are
As a Social Media Organic Associate at Sainsbury's, you are a creative and food-passionate individual with a deep understanding of social media trends and behaviours.
