What you'll do

You will work closely with the offshore delivery centre, Finance and Non-Finance Business Partners, and other business functions to deliver accurate financial reporting, support audit requirements, and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies. Your role will require strong financial controls, organisational skills, and the ability to make informed decisions in complex and changing environments, all while demonstrating a commitment to driving change and delivering high-quality financial management.

Who you are

You are a professionally qualified accountant with a proven track record in maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and accounting standards. Your extensive experience in retail or similar fast-moving environments equips you with the ability to analyse complex financial data, identify opportunities for improvement, and make sound decisions in areas of complexity or ambiguity. With your strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills, along with your high level of energy and drive, you play a crucial role in managing the accounting activities for GM & C, contributing to the accurate financial close and supporting business projects with your expertise and attention to detail.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstratable experience of designing, operating and maintaining effective financial controls, including compliance with organisational policies and procedures
  • Proven capability in financial analysis, planning and prioritisation, with evidence of delivering accurate outputs to deadline in a changing business environment
  • Demonstrated people management or supervisory experience, including coordinating team activity and working collaboratively with cross‑functional stakeholders
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, evidenced by the ability to present financial information clearly to both finance and non‑finance audiences
