This is an exciting opportunity to shape the digital creative direction of Tu Clothing and lead the design vision across our fast‑growing online channels. You’ll set the creative North Star, elevate our brand presence, and drive inspiring, seamless shopping experiences across web and mobile – working closely with talented onshore designers and our Digital Operations Centre in Mumbai. If you’re a digital design leader with strong retail instincts, a passion for storytelling, and experience in CMS‑led content delivery, this is your chance to make a big impact on one of the UK’s most loved retail brands.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the design vision for Tu Clothing’s digital experience, ensuring all content delivers an engaging, on‑brand customer journey that drives commercial performance.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of digital assets, campaign content and inspirational page layouts, ensuring consistency across web and mobile.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing, Studio, Digital Trading, Content and Planning teams to translate brand guidelines into compelling digital executions.
  • Work closely with the Digital Operations Centre in Mumbai — guiding Designers and Implementation Specialists, improving processes, and raising overall capability.
  • Influence the CMS roadmap (Magnolia), helping Product teams prioritise enhancements that improve storytelling, seasonal refreshes and customer experience.
  • Establish strong ways of working with UX, CX, QA, Testing, and wider Commercial teams to ensure usability, accessibility and design quality are consistently upheld.
  • Act as a senior design leader across key digital projects — delivering briefs, campaign decks, style guides, pattern libraries and development documentation.
  • Build, coach and develop a high‑performing team, ensuring robust succession, a positive culture, and insight‑driven continuous improvement across Digital Design & Implementation.

What you need to know and show

  • Strong experience in digital design leadership within a retail or eCommerce environment (essential).
  • Proven track record delivering high‑quality digital assets, creative briefs, campaign decks, design systems and pattern libraries (essential).
  • Experience using a Content Management System — ideally Magnolia (essential).
  • Good understanding of tools such as Adobe Analytics, Glassbox or similar to inform insight‑driven design decisions (desirable but highly beneficial).
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across Digital, Commercial, Marketing, Product and UX teams.
  • Strong understanding of fashion, digital trends and customer digital behaviour, with the ability to create content that feels current, compelling and commercial.
  • Confident participating in CMS/UI/technical discussions (e.g., test environments, CMS workflows, search tools) and driving development opportunities.
  • A strong people leader — able to inspire teams, manage multiple stakeholders, anticipate risks, and deliver at pace in a dynamic digital environment.
