What you'll do

As the Social Videographer and Editor at Zest Production Studio within Sainsbury's Marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging, high-impact social content for Sainsbury's brands. Your responsibilities will include end-to-end content creation encompassing shortform video and photography, involving planning, shooting, lighting, and editing assets that align with the brand's visual identity and platform best practises. Working across DSLR and mobile workflows, you will utilise your technical expertise in Cap Cut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve to ensure all content is polished, optimised, and ready for distribution across various channels. Additionally, you will stay abreast of social media trends, formats, and creative approaches, contributing fresh concepts that enhance audience engagement and elevate the social presence of Sainsbury's brands in collaboration with the Zest teams.

Who you are

As a Social Videographer & Editor for Sainsbury's Zest Creative Agency, you are a versatile and creative professional with proven experience in creating engaging social media content across both mobile and DSLR platforms. With a strong technical proficiency in video editing tools such as Cap Cut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve, you bring a keen eye for detail and storytelling to produce high-quality content that aligns with brand tone and resonates with audiences. Your ability to stay ahead of social media trends, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and drive innovative creative concepts enables you to contribute to world-class content delivery for Sainsbury's and its associated brands.

 Essential criteria

  • Proven experience creating short‑form social video content end to end (planning, shooting, lighting and editing).
  • Strong experience shooting on both mobile and DSLR cameras.
  • Proficient using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience in lighting setups for people, product and environment-based shoots.
  • Demonstrable ability to produce content aligned to brand visual identity and tone within a creative agency.
