In a nutshell
As the UK’s leading omni-channel retailer, Argos provides a unique offer of choice, value and convenience to meet customer needs, selling products through over 800 stores, website and mobile apps. Nectar360 (N360) offers suppliers comprehensive multi-channel marketing solutions in and around Sainsbury's and Argos stores and online. We have a unique approach to store and customer planning. Using Nectar, the UK's most comprehensive customer database, their teams conduct advanced analysis to uncover new insights about shopper interactions and brands.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Client Insight Manager to join the Nectar360 Data & Insights team, focused on our ambitions to expand the Sainsburys Insight Platform (SIP) for Argos to our suppliers as well as future data commercialisation activities, aligned to business’ objectives and growth plans.
We are looking for an ambitious Client Insight Manager with Insight Commercialisation experience to work with our external Argos suppliers and internal Argos senior stakeholders, the N360 Argos Client Service team and the N360 Data & Insights team to drive the uptake of SIP for Argos.
The priority for this role will be to unlock the commercial opportunity associated with SIP for Argos from our suppliers. The use of SIP for Argos enables our business and suppliers to make more data led business decisions at great pace by unlocking the full potential of the platform. You’ll act as an ambassador for SIP Argos, running platform demonstrations, developing proposals and converting pipeline opportunities of our market leading insight platform to the Argos supplier/client base, delivering against our annual revenue Data & Insight target. You will also play an active role in ensuring SIP best practice is executed across the Argos supplier base, driving client engagement and ensuring long term contracted commitment to SIP, as well as internal usage within Nectar360 and Argos teams.
You should be a self-starter who can think outside of the box as this role will grow and evolve alongside our data commercialisation proposition for Argos. A positive, forward-thinking and can-do attitude is essential as you will be working in one of the fastest growing and dynamic areas of the business.
What I am accountable for
You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Argos Data & Insights budget, determining risks and identifying opportunities and requirements to hit budget and deliver YoY growth. You will lead and direct pipeline opportunities, annual contract renewals, run platform demonstrations, create quotes for prospective clients and work with the existing brands on SIP for Argos, to achieve our annual revenue target.
You will play a key role in the delivery of our Data & Insight Services to Argos suppliers supporting and aligning with the Nectar360 Data & Insight strategy. Working within both the N360 Argos Client Service and Data and Insights teams to make this happen.
You will be a champion of SIP for Argos and the driving force behind the proposition. You will help land and grow the SIP-Argos data proposition for clients while working collaboratively with Argos Client Service, Commercial, Supplier Planning and Data & Insight teams.
You will work collaboratively with the Argos Client Service team including Client Directors, Senior Client Managers, Client Managers and Exec levels as well as working closely and collaboratively with the Data & Insights team.
You will confidently manage client relationships and develop a deep knowledge of your client’s business, working collaboratively with Client Services, to help identify how SIP-Argos will improve their business decisions and opportunities with Argos.
