What you'll do

You will play a crucial role in business partnering with the Nectar360 team, supporting the delivery of the growth plan for this dynamic and rapidly expanding area of the business. Your key responsibilities will include owning the financial planning processes for Nectar360, managing the 5-year plan, budgeting, and forecasting. Through interpreting management reporting, providing insightful analysis and commentary to stakeholders, and identifying risks and opportunities, you will drive decisions that enhance performance and improve profit / cost outcomes. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams, completing ad hoc analysis, supporting business projects, and contributing to simplification efforts within Nectar360, all while maintaining strong financial controls and prioritising effectively.

Who you are

You are a seasoned finance professional with a proven track record of driving excellent financial and commercial performance through effective business partnering and strategic financial planning. Your ability to distil complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders demonstrates your strong commercial acumen and expertise in storytelling. With a focus on continuous improvement and simplification, you excel in identifying risks, opportunities, and driving decisions that enhance business performance, while maintaining strong financial controls and fostering a collaborative, autonomous work environment.

Essential Criteria

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with demonstrable commercial finance experience (additional experience in FP&A is desirable)
  • Demonstrable delivery of improved financial and commercial performance, applying commercial insight to support decision‑making
  • Proven experience communicating financial information to senior stakeholders, adapting style for audiences with varying levels of financial and commercial understanding
  • Evidence of maintaining effective financial controls and delivering accurate financial outcomes, while working autonomously and managing competing priorities
  • Demonstrated use of finance BI tools to improve ways of working and productivity
