Why join us

Joining the Sainsbury's team as an Automation Artworker means being part of a dynamic and innovative environment where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, print-ready POS and production artwork. With a focus on automation and efficiency, you'll have the opportunity to work collaboratively with talented teams, ensuring outputs meet brand and production standards while supporting the effective use of automation tools. As an Automation Artworker, you will have the chance to showcase your expertise in print production, Adobe Creative Suite proficiency, and knowledge of brand guidelines, while continuously striving for improvement and growth in a supportive and learning-focused setting.

What you'll do

As an Automation Artworker at Sainsbury's, you will be responsible for creating and finalising high-quality POS and print-ready artwork by utilising a combination of manual artwork expertise and automated / template-based systems. Your role will involve reviewing briefs, assets, and specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy, conducting quality checks on both manual and automated outputs, and ensuring all artwork meets brand, legal, and production standards. You will apply templates and automation tools to produce artwork at scale, maintain accurate version control, and act as the final quality gate before artwork goes to print. Collaboration with designers, production teams, and external suppliers to resolve artwork queries and ensure accurate delivery will be crucial, along with supporting the continuous improvement of templates, tools, and ways of working.

Who you are

As an Artworker specialising in Automation for Sainsbury's Zest division, you are a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of print production and POS artwork, proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, and knowledgeable about brand guidelines and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in working with templates and high-volume artwork production, coupled with your commitment to maintaining quality control and pre-press standards, enables you to deliver high-quality, print-ready artwork efficiently and accurately. You demonstrate a proactive approach in identifying and resolving issues, collaborating effectively with designers, production teams, and external suppliers to ensure the seamless delivery of artwork while supporting continuous improvement through automation and streamlined workflows.
