We’d all like amazing work to do, and real work/life balance. That’s waiting for you right here. Supply Chain and Logistics is the engine room that gets thousands of products from farms and factories, through the business and to millions of customers every day. We plan around everything from barbecue weekends to Sunday roasts, supporting those who want oven-ready cauliflower cheese and those who prefer to make it from scratch. Insight and data are everything. But so is judgement — when there’s an issue or ambiguity anywhere, we’re often the first to spot it. There’s a big transformation underway. It calls for people who champion change, bring others with them, and collaborate and communicate. Because those people can go a very long way here.

What I am accountable for

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Inbound Supply Controllers and Supply Chain Assistants to deliver availability, stock, GOL availability and CSAT targets.
  • Manage supplier relationships to maximise service, availability and sales, working with Commercial teams to deliver joint business plans.
  • Oversee stock flow planning throughout the full product lifecycle, using merchandising and logistics tools to meet availability and stock targets.
  • Own volume forecasting for your division, ensuring accuracy and alignment with commercial and operational plans.
  • Lead planning for promotional and seasonal events, ensuring decisions balance customer needs, operational feasibility and commercial outcomes.
  • Ensure successful and on‑time range launches by managing critical path milestones and resolving issues with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Maintain continuous stock flow through the JS network, preventing dormant stock and managing aged or at‑risk stock where required.
  • Identify and deliver Cost to Serve and efficiency opportunities across the supply chain.
  • Drive process improvement and strengthen cross‑functional ways of working to improve planning, collaboration and governance.
  • Analyse supply and range performance, providing clear direction to address issues and unlock opportunities.
  • Develop continuity‑of‑supply plans to mitigate long‑term risks and protect availability.
  • Own the stock budget for your categories, ensuring alignment with commercial and operational priorities.

Essential

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, challenge and build strong relationships across functions and with suppliers.
  • Strong analytical capability, able to interpret complex data and make informed, commercial decisions.
  • Experience leading teams through change, setting clear goals and building longer‑term strategies.
  • Strong understanding of volume management and processes, with the ability to coach others.
  • Supply Chain Experience, ideally in fast‑paced environments.
  • Strong commercial awareness, problem‑solving skills and confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of end‑to‑end Supply Chain and how internal/external factors impact routes to market.
  • High attention to detail and a diligent, structured approach to work.
