What you'll do

As a Financial Control Assistant Manager, your primary responsibility will be managing the financial close process for specific products and services, ensuring balance sheet substantiation and reconciliation controls are in place. You will be a vital member of the Finance team, serving as a key liaison with stakeholders across the Bank and its subsidiaries. You will also support the preparation of monthly management reports, contribute to the design and implementation of financial processes and controls for business change initiatives, and provide analysis and disclosures for the Bank's monthly management accounts and Group consolidation packs. Collaborating closely with the team, you will assist in the preparation of IFRS financial statements, support external audit processes, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency.

 

Who you are

With your expertise in finance operations, reporting, and control gained from industry or practice, you bring a meticulous approach to managing daily interfaces, journal preparation, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. Your analytical mindset and attention to detail enable you to support the production of management reports, provide insightful analysis, and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes. As a team player, you thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with others to meet tight deadlines and deliver optimal results.Your qualifications as an accountant, experience in finance operations/reporting/control, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. You will demonstrate excellent organisational abilities, the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and be a collaborative team player with strong relationship management skills.
