We’d all like amazing work to do, and real work-life balance. That’s waiting for you at Sainsbury’s. This is where you’ll enjoy a broad range of projects, no matter what your level, because our Corporate Affairs team is non-hierarchical and truly plugged in to the rest of the business. Whether it’s internal, external or government relations, you’ll have the chance to collaborate with everyone from food waste to health, or general merchandising to Nectar, in order to support some amazing campaigns. You’ll help build trust around Sainsbury’s with customers, senior stakeholders, media and more. And if non-linear progression is what you’re after, you’ll find opportunities are all around.

In addition, you will manage the Food & Drink Communications Assistant, ensure the timely delivery of campaigns and plans by directing the team and working with agencies, build strong relationships with media contacts, and measure the impact and communicate the results of our PR efforts. You will also contribute to reputation management, consult on potential risks, and collaborate with other Corporate Affairs teams to maximise PR opportunities across the organisation.

Your excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with strong project management abilities, enable you to effectively lead and execute key campaigns and projects that support the First Choice for Food strategy, showcasing Sainsbury's as the go-to destination for innovative, affordable, and joyful food and drink experiences. With your proven track record of delivering results and managing budgets, you work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop and implement PR plans that drive brand visibility and support broader business objectives. You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and you possess strong media contacts and media relations experience. Your solutions-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and passion for staying current with media and PR trends further contribute to your success in this role.
