What you'll do?

As the HOP for Cloud and Connectivity, you will be responsible for driving our vision and strategy across our critical cloud services, hosting, and infrastructure capabilities that fuel our future vision and growth plans. This is a critical leadership role that will define the role that our platforms and capabilities play both today and in the future. Whilst we have specialist engineers supporting our infrastructure and cloud platform capability, you will also work with our strategic partners to really drive your vision. 

The reliance on our infrastructure, network and cloud platforms have never been greater as a business, but we believe there is more to go after. We are passionate about greater resilience, scalability and flexibility, and cost effectiveness as key drivers of our strategy. You will need to be comfortable with both optimising and reducing legacy whilst supporting emerging growth areas such as Edge compute. Crucially, you'll need to supporting critical investment prioritisation across your portfolio and be adept at combining yours and partner team aspirations to drive best business and customer impact. 

Who you are?

You bring to the team a comprehensive understanding of retail business intricacies and the vital role technology plays in enhancing product value. Your experience is marked by a proven track record of agile delivery, paired with an intimate grasp of technical product development principles. You have a well-honed commercial acumen and a customer-centric approach to product management, underpinned by a strong belief in data-driven decision-making. Your ability to navigate complex commercial landscapes with finesse, paired with your talent for fostering strong and compelling team dynamics and an inherent technical curiosity, makes you the visionary force capable of steering cross-functional squads to deliver industry-leading data products.
