As the Implementation Lead you will help to deliver fully optimised digital merchandising across all of our Food Digital touchpoints on time, with 100% accuracy working closely with our off-shore team. 

You will help to identify efficiencies and improve customer experience, working closely with stakeholders to develop improved executions in an efficient way. You develop robust ways of working with relevant stakeholders across the business. 

What you need to do

  • You will collaborate with our off-shore Implementation team to ensure digital executions across all digital channels are delivered on-time and to the highest standard.
  • You will help to develop best practice and deliver efficiencies in how we Implement and for our stakeholders and how they work with us e.g. briefing processes.
  • You work closely with the Design team to bring to life enhanced customer journeys which are carefully balanced against efficiency of execution.
  • Improve ways of working and execution of messaging with stakeholders outside of Digital e.g Nectar360.  

What you need to know and show

  • You establish strong ways of working and processes that deliver on-site merchandising on time, to standard and against agreed productivity targets.
  • You track and utilise engagement metrics to ensure enhancements to execution. 
  • You have deep experience of and knowledge of working with a CMS e.g. Magnolia
  • You derive insight from data analytics tools (both customer metrics and workflow data) and utilise this data to make recommendations with briefing teams. 
  • You are a clear communicator. 
  • You experiment with new executions and new ways of working, learning from failures as well as success.
  • Where relevant, you participate in technical discussions around website implementation tools and solutions.

What decisions I can make including budget

  • You are responsible for the fast and effective implementation of changes and updates to our digital channels will deliver incremental sales benefits.

Directly or indirectly manages

You will display strong stakeholder management across wider digital/business functions particularly Digital Trading, Content & Optimisation and Product. 

Support we will provide

  • Available support from analytics and usability lab teams.
  • Available support from Group UX/UI teams
  • A wide range of Ecommerce and management tools eg Magnolia, Synops, Jira, Adobe Analytics, Sainsbury’s intranet (OurSainsburys)
  • Generic Sainsbury’s L&D, line management support
