What you'll do


As a Location Planner, you will be responsible for providing accurate forecasts and board papers to support the delivery of the Property Strategy. You will be responsible for producing forecasts for new stores, competitor impacts, trade transfers, and input into key processes such as New Store PIRs, Property Board papers, and the annual PIR process. With your strong analytical skills, you will synthesise and analyse a wide variety of data while keeping customer needs at the forefront of capital investment decisions. You will build strong working relationships with key stakeholders, such as Senior Location Planners and Property Development Surveyors, and provide recommendations regarding the appropriate size and offer for potential new stores and extensions. Additionally, you will contribute to improving Location Planning methodologies and processes through ad hoc analysis, offer locational expertise to various business areas, and conduct post-investment reviews to ensure timely insights and continuous improvement.

Who you are


As a Location Planner, you are a highly analytical professional with excellent skills in synthesising and analysing a wide variety of data. With a focus on keeping customer needs at the forefront, you possess the ability to present analysis and recommendations in a logical and concise manner. Your core knowledge of GIS and the integration of quantitative and qualitative information enables you to support investment decisions and provide accurate forecasts for new stores, extensions, and trade transfers. Your willingness to challenge existing methodologies and processes, along with your strong planning and organisational skills, allows you to drive improvements in location planning methodology and processes. With your ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with colleagues from different disciplines, you build strong working relationships and contribute to the overall success of the property strategy.
