What you'll do
As a Senior WMS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Engineering teams, contributing to the creation and improvement of our warehouse management systems. Working with leading applications such as Blue Yonder WMS, Manhattan, and Korber's Warehouse Advantage, you will have the opportunity to influence the design, development, and operation of our critical business systems as part of our logistics tech transformation journey. Leveraging your expertise in warehouse processes and programming skills in SQL Server and Azure Cloud, you will lead the configuration of these systems and provide technical guidance to the engineers in your team. Your contributions will shape our product technical roadmap, and you will also work extensively with cloud technology, ensuring the design and support of services and internal frameworks that enhance Sainsbury's Group capabilities. Through your commitment to continuous improvement and agile delivery methodologies, you will drive solutions that deliver value to our customers while being supported by a range of benefits and a flexible work-life balance.

As a Senior WMS Engineer specialising in Warehouse Management Systems, you are a highly skilled and experienced professional who thrives on engineering innovative and smart technology solutions. With expertise in leading applications such as Blue Yonder WMS, Manhattan, and Korber's Warehouse Advantage, you play a critical role in modernising our Logistics Tech and ensuring the smooth operation of our global supply chain. 

Your extensive knowledge in warehouse processes, proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, and ability to work with cloud technology enable you to influence system design, enhance capabilities, and drive focused outcomes that meet the needs of our Logistics colleagues. With your analytical mindset, passion for continuous improvement, and proficiency in engineering and architectural principles, you contribute to the success of our engineering community and the delivery of exceptional customer solutions.
